PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a pulse-drive type fluorescent display tube driving circuit. SOLUTION: This driving circuit for a fluorescent display is configured to pulse-drive a filament of the vacuum fluorescent display. Then, the driving circuit is equipped with a filament pulse control means capable of setting at least one of the pulse width and pulse period of a pulse-driving signal for pulse-driving the filament according to externally received data.
