The invention proposes an indicator light, in particular for a motor vehicle, of the type comprising a central optical axis oriented from rear to front, a light source on this optical axis, and a solid optical piece, of the type in which the optical piece comprises an input surface and an output surface, wherein the optical piece comprises a roughly transverse reflection surface which is arranged axially opposite the output surface; and in that the input surface is arranged axially between the reflection surface and the output surface, so that the light rays which enter the optical piece through the input surface are reflected by the reflection surface to the output surface.
