Graphical information to be ciphered is divided into at least two parts (3,4), and the this information (6) is applied to desired media (6a) with a suitable device using transfer media, pigments or inks. The information may be digitally encoded and printed using an ink-jet printer, thermal transfer, screen printing, tampon or laser printing.
