PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR A WATER INTAKE PLANT

The invention relates to water supply engineering and can be used for protecting a water intake against bottom sediments, fish, plankton, floating wastes and petroleum products. The inventive protective system for a water intake plant comprises a closed water intake area which is formed by a protective bank provided with an input water intake hole arranged in the body thereof and the water receiver of a water intake pipeline arranged oppositely thereto. Said water intake area is situated in a water basin in such away that a transition channel for the unconstrained passage of alongshore streams is formed. The input water intake hole is embodied in the protective bank on the seaside thereof. The water receiver of the water intake pipeline is embodied in the form of a protective vertically-separating device which comprises an input flow-forming element, a working protective water intake element and a drainage element. Said water receiver is also provided with an additional floating device in the form of a horizontal perforated pipeline which is connected to a pressure air duct. The drainage element is connected to the transition channel and provided with a unit for forming a directed water flow, which is connected to a pressure water source. Said invention increases the efficiency of the water intake protection against bottom sediments, fish, plankton, floating wastes and petroleum products.
