PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adding device of velocity polarity producing a velocity added with velocity polarity by eliminating noise of accelerator output and erroneous judgment of going back and forth due to the effect of impact and the like. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of an accelerator 1; a velocity sensor 2; an offset correction circuit 4 producing an offset correction acceleration 101a based on the acceleration 101; a velocity calculation circuit 6 producing a virtual velocity 105 by integrating the offset correction acceleration 101a, a positive/negative velocity arithmetic circuit 5 producing a positive velocity 103, and negative velocity 104 given with the positive/negative polarity corresponding to the going back/forth of the moving body to the velocity 102; and a judgment operation circuit 7 by comparing a "difference 1" between the virtual velocity 105 and the positive velocity 103, and a "difference 2" between the virtual velocity 105 and the negative velocity by receiving the virtual velocity 105, the positive velocity 103 and the negative velocity 104, judging a positive of the velocity polarity of the smaller difference, and outputting the velocity polarity adding velocity 106 which the judged velocity polarity is added to the representing velocity judged to be positive.
