PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave receiver that can reduce the number of signal lines in a coupling cable and make the coupling cable thin in comparison with the number of oscillators, resulting in flexibility improvement. SOLUTION: Array modulators 13-15 are arranged corresponding to each group of oscillators 1-16; two or more received signals possessing the same bandwidth (Δf) output from the oscillators of each group are respectively modulated by two or more modulators 132-134,142-144 and 152-154 by the use of different frequency signals (f2, f3, f4); and then the result signals are added to the reception signals from amplifier 131, 141, 151 and the sum is output. The added signals via a coupling cable 31 are demodulated respectively by two or more array demodulators 21-23 and are output as two or more received signals, and the delay addition is performed by delay-adding unit 25.
