NEUTRALIZATION TREATING VESSEL OF ACIDIC WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with the blocking in the lower edge opening of an introduction pipeline by a granular neutralizing agent granulated by consumption of the neutralizing agent in a neutralization treating vessel for performing neutralization treatment of acidic water by bringing the acidic water into contact with calcium carbonate or a neutralizing agent mainly composed of the calcium carbonate. SOLUTION: The neutralization treating vessel 20A is equipped with a vessel body 21 which is packed with the granular neutralizing agent of a prescribed size, the introduction pipeline 22 for the acidic water which opens near to the bottom through a neutralizing agent packed bed A within the vessel body 21 from the outside of the vessel body 21 and an outflow pipeline 23 for the water subjected to the neutralization treatment which opens to face the upper side of the neutralizing agent packed bed A within the vessel body 21 from the outside of the vessel body 21. The introduction pipeline 22 is equipped with the lower edge opening 22a and a lateral opening 22b which exists in the lateral part upper than the same and opens into the neutralizing agent packed bed A.
