Method and system for implementing evolutionary algorithms

A method that efficiently implements evolutionary algorithms on heterogeneous computer clusters (FIG. 4); in which method a central process delegates subpopulations of individuals of similar fitness (211) to separate computers where they evolve for a certain number of generations (212) after which they return to the central pool before the delegation is repeated.
