摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throwing type measuring apparatus of oxygen concentration in a molten metal that is arranged in the channel of the molten metal for continuously measuring oxygen concentration in the molten metal. <P>SOLUTION: The throwing type oxygen concentration measuring apparatus 100 in the molten metal is installed in the channel of the molten metal 101, measures electromotive force generated between a reference electrode 120 and an external electrode 190, and continuously measures oxygen concentration in the molten metal. The throwing type oxygen concentration measuring apparatus comprises a solid electrolyte oxygen sensor 110; the reference electrode 120; a sensor retention part 130; a housing 140; a cover gas supply part 150; a heat insulating part 160; and a temperature measuring part 170. With this configuration, cracks by the thermal shock of the solid electrolyte oxygen sensor, and the adhesion of slug in the molten metal to the surface can be prevented.
