PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine structure for a snowmobile realizing downsizing of the engine and suppressing thermal influence to respective instruments in the engine. SOLUTION: In the snowmobile 1, a front upper half of a vehicle body is covered with an openable/closable engine hood 17 to form an engine room 18 at the inside and the engine 19 provided with a turbo-charger 33 is loaded in the engine room 18. A headlight 16 is arranged at a rear upper part of the engine hood 17 and a cylinder head 22 of the engine 19 is arranged in the state that the engine 19 is slightly rearwardly inclined such that it is arranged below the headlight 16 in side view. The turbo-charger 33 is arranged at a front side of the cylinder head 22 and below the cylinder head 22. The engine 19 is offset-arranged at one side in plan view and an inter cooler 35 is arranged at the opposite side to the offset side of the engine 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
