A hydraulic installation has a first pump unit with a pump driven by a first electric motor and for supplying a lifting drive and at least one further consumer load. A second pump unit is provided for supplying a hydraulic steering device. At least two different types of valve units (15a) (not shown here) and (15b) are provided and are used to supply at least one further consumer load from the second pump unit (10), where by selective use of these valve units different hydraulic systems can be made.
