A lens holder portion (3) for holding an object lens (5) is supported at one end side of each of four suspension wires (2) and capable of moving in a focusing direction and a tracking direction. A surface (2a) with minute ridges and grooves is formed on the surface of each suspension wire (2). An adhesive agent (11) fixing each wire (2) to the lens holder portion (3) and to a fixture member (4) enters into the grooves of the surface (2a) and cures, providing anchoring effect for increased adhesion strength. In this way, adhesion strength to the suspension wires (2) can be increased in an object lens drive device (1) where the lens holder portion (3) is supported by the suspension wires (2).
