PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of using a cell, where a change in cell activity potential based on a temperature change in a reflex liquid is smaller, in an experiment. SOLUTION: In the method, the cell is exposed to the chemical liquid in high-resistance electric seal formation state. The method includes a process for allowing an extracellular physiological liquid to flow back to an inflow/outflow line from one liquid channel of a tube and retaining cell suspension in a cell tank having a liquid channel of a Y-shaped tube connection inflow line and an outflow line (a); a process for bringing the tip of a pipet into contact with a dispersion cell in the cell tank and adding negative pressure to the cell via the pipette (b); a process for allowing the chemical liquid to flow back to the inflow/outflow line from other liquid channels of the tube for bringing the chemical liquid into contact with the cell in the cell tank (c); and a process for allowing extracellular physiological liquid to flow back to the inflow/outflow line from the one liquid channel of the tube again for stopping the exposure of the chemical liquid to the cell in the cell tank (d).
