摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BiTe group polycrystalline thermoelectric material which has a high performance index at 150°C-200°C and is inexpensive, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a thermoelectric conversion material for thermal power generation includes a process in which a raw material powder containing two or more kinds among unalloyed Bi, Te, Se and Sb are mechanically alloyed with a raw material powder containing Pb or PbTe or CuBr, SbI<SB>3</SB>, as necessary, so that the material of 50 mass% or more has a single phase; a process of obtaining a molded body from this alloyed powder; a process of applying thermal processing to the molded body in a hydrogen; and a sintering process of plastic-deforming and sintering the molded body.
