<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system in which the remaining working amount and working time of a device made to act by the use of a battery can be easily recognized. <P>SOLUTION: The power source system has a battery unit equipped with a battery, and a device main body to which the battery unit is attached and which acts with the battery as a power source, and transfers information between the battery unit and the device main body. The working amount of the device main body is transmitted from the device main body to the battery unit in a specified cycle. In the battery unit, the working amount of the device main body is integrated and stored, and also the consumed capacity of the battery by the device main body is detected, then working amount integrated value, the consumed capacity and the charged capacity of the battery are transmitted from the battery unit to the device main body in the specified cycle.
