<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel whose aesthetic appearance can be prevented from being damaged even when dot spacers are visualized. <P>SOLUTION: In a touch panel 1 where a first transparent electrode 10 and a second transparent electrode 20 are arranged so as to face each other at a predetermined interval, dot spacers 4 and 5 are arranged in the interval, and a pattern including pictures, characters, symbols, and graphics is plotted with colors or the array of those dot spacers. Therefore, when the touch panel 1 is arranged on a display picture such as a liquid crystal display device so as to be used even when the dot spacers 4 and 5 are viewed by a user, those are viewed as not a mere geometrical array but an intentionally plotted pattern.
