PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical resonator by which the length of a resonator can be reduced and a stable laser resonator can be constituted, and to provide the laser oscillator of a small size and simple constitution which has the stable laser resonator. SOLUTION: A first substrate and a second substrate are arranged in face to face with each other, a reflection mirror is provided on the flattened main surface of the first substrate, recessed surface and a plane surrounding it are formed on the main surface of the second substrate, and the reflection mirror is provided on this recessed surface to constitute the optical resonator where the main surface of the first substrate and the plane of the second substrate can be connected. At least a solid laser medium 15 and a substrate 12 are connected, a first reflection mirror 13 is provided on the main surface side of the solid laser medium 15, a recessed surface 12A and a plane 12B surrounding it are formed on the main surface of the substrate 12, and a second reflection mirror is provided on the recessed surface 12A to constitute the laser resonator of the first reflection mirror 13 and the second reflection mirror 14 to constitute the laser oscillator 10.
