METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BILLET CONSISTING OF RESIDUAL MATERIAL OF TETRAFLUOROETHYLENE RESIN AND RECYCLING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a billet of a tetrafluoroethylene resin with a stable quality even though a processed residual material of the tetrafluoroethylene resin, in particular the processed residual material of turning processing of the tetrafluoroethylene resin is used as a raw material. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the billet is provided with a compression molding process wherein the processed residual material of the tetrafluoroethylene resin is compressed in a mold for molding, a heating process wherein the mold for molding is wholly heated, and a thermal inertia compression process wherein the processed residual material in the heated mold is cooled while it is compressed again. A surface pressure in the compression molding process is 200-800 kgf/cm2, and a heating conditions in the heating process is 350-380°C for 2-8 hr, and the surface pressure in the thermal inertia compression process is 100-400 kgf/cm2.
