PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dielectric resonator device in which a dielectric core can be easily supported in a cavity so as to eliminate cost-up factor and a problem with a decrease of a resonant frequency of a TM mode in which an electric field vector passes through a support is solved, the dielectric filter having it, the composite dielectric filter and the communication apparatus. SOLUTION: An outside dimension of a support plate 3 is made larger than that of a bottom face of a dielectric core 10 contacting with this support plate 3 and the support plate 3 is fixed on a bottom face of an inner side of a cavity 1 with support columns 2 at a periphery of the support plate 3. Accordingly, an air layer A is provided between the bottom face of an inner side of a cavity 1 and the support plate 3 and a resonant frequency of a TMz mode in which a direction of the electric field vector is perpendicular to the surface of the support plate 3 is increased so as to be kept considerably away from a resonant frequency of an TM01δmulti-mode to be used.
