PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a fiber collimator array, improve reliability thereof, and inexpensively manufacture it by making it possible to fix a fiber array and a lens array in the state in which they are adjusted in the direction of the optical axis and are aligned in the optical axis across an air gap with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This is a fiber collimator array 10 in which a fiber array 12 which aligns a plurality of optical fibers 20 and is held by a holding block 22 at the end part, and a lens array 14 of a lens arrangement coincident with alignment spacing of the optical fibers are arranged across an air gap. The lens array is adjusted to the fiber array in the optical axis direction and aligned in the optical axis, the fiber array abuts on a collimator substrate 16 at the bottom of the holding block, with the lens array floated from the collimator substrate, the side face of the lens fixing block 18 abuts on the lens array and also the bottom face of the lens fixing block abuts on the collimator substrate, and they are anchored with the adhesive lying only between each abutment face.
