<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a shock absorbing effect of a resilient member in a power steering device when the resilient member arranged at the end part of a rack shaft is abutted against a stopper part arranged at the end surface of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A power steering device 10 is constructed such that the outer circumference of an end part of a rack shaft 12 is provided with a tool engagement surface 21, a resilient member 30 is applied to cover the outer circumference including the tool engagement surface 21 at the end part of the rack shaft 12, and the resilient member 30 can be abutted against a stopper part 31 arranged at the end surface of a housing 13 at a moving end of the rack shaft 12. The resilient member 30 is fitted and inserted without any clearance at an entire circumference of the outer circumference in an outer circumferential direction including the tool engagement surface 21 at the end part of the rack shaft 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
