PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of manufacturing stably a coating film with little variation in thickness. SOLUTION: In the drying method of the coating film 11 formed by coating a coating liquid on a running long support 10, immediately after the coating liquid is applied on the long support 10, the drying is performed maintaining an evaporation rate of a solvent at 0.1 g/m2×sor less.
