PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of burning solid fuel to be supplied uniformly on a grate and preventing an unburned part and ash after combustion from adhering to the grate and having excellent combustion property and maintenance property. SOLUTION: This combustion device 10 is provided with a fuel conveyance part 11 conveying solid fuel like pellet and lump by pushing the solid fuel in the horizontal direction by rotation of a fuel feeding shaft 11b provided inside it, a fuel discharge part 12 of the fuel conveyance part 11 formed by opening vertically and upward from a tip part side of the fuel feeding shaft, and a grate part 13 attached to the fuel discharge part 12 to burn the solid fuel by pushing the solid fuel up through an opening part and piling the solid fuel up on a grate face 13b.
