PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry pump which achieves improvement of a pump service life and pump performance under a high temperature condition while allowing operation in a housing at high temperature in order to prevent deposition of sediments and solid precipitation. SOLUTION: An intake port side thermal insulation space 26, 26' which is arranged between an intake port side bearing 24, 24' and a pump body intake port 3 of an upper housing 2, is formed in a side cover 22 on an intake port side. An exhaust port side thermal insulation space 27, 27' which is arranged between an exhaust port side bearing 25, 25' and a pump body exhaust port 4 of a lower housing 2', is formed in a side cover 23 on an exhaust port side.
