PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrupt release monitoring device capable of easily corresponding to stop the corrupt opening if required in designing or installation. SOLUTION: The monitoring device for a corrupt opening of this opening and closing device is so constructed as to monitor the opening of the opening and closing body in a fully closed state by an external force. This monitoring device for the corrupt release is equipped with an external force moving member capable of shifting to the external force by an external force in the opening direction, a movable receiving member permitting the movement of an external force moving member without changing the position, and a protruding and moving member for protrusion and movement during a relative shift to the movable receiving member for the external force moving member on an end construction of the opening and closing body at the finally closing side for an opening portion. Also, this monitoring device for corrupt release of the opening and closing device is provided with a protrusion movement detecting means for detecting protrusion movement of the protrusion moving member, and also it has a function to stop the corrupt release if an opening stop member is provided for stopping the opening by the external force against the opening and closing body in a fully closed state engaging with the protrusion moving member protrudedly moved.
