APPARATUS FOR MEASURING SPECIFIC GRAVITY USING PROPAGATION VELOCITY OF SUPERSONIC WAVE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring specific gravity using supersonic wave and a method thereof are provided to measure specific gravity of a medium with precision by using for converting an electrical signal into supersonic wave, or converting supersonic wave into the electrical signal, and measuring supersonic propagation speed with respect to an object to be measured. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring specific gravity using supersonic wave includes a control unit(110) and a display unit(140). The control unit(110) displays at least one object to be measured on the display unit(140) such that a user selects the object. The control unit(110) measures a supersonic propagation speed with respect to the object selected by the user. The control unit(110) reads an equation for calculating specific gravity corresponding to the object and inserts the supersonic propagation speed into the equation. The display unit(140) displays the specific gravity calculated through the equation.
