PURPOSE: A bismuth compound, a method for preparing the same and a method for producing a film using the same compound are provided. The bismuth compound has improved vaporization property and thermal stability, and is liquid at room temperature. Therefore, the bismuth compound can be easily supplied. CONSTITUTION: The bismuth compound represented by formula (I) is provided, wherein R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower acyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, lower halogenated alkyl or halogen; n1 is the number of R2 and is 0 to 4; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are hydrogen, lower alkyl or lower halogenated alkyl. The method for preparing the bismuth compound represented by formula (I) comprises reacting monoaryl dehalogenated bismuth of formula (II) with R1-converting reagent. The method for preparing the bismuth compound represented by formula (I) comprises reacting dialkylmonohalogenated bismuth of formula (III) with an arylating reagent of formula (IV), wherein Z1 is halogen; and Q1 is lithium, sodium, potassium, MgCl, MgBr or Mgl.
