PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material data providing method under the consideration of a problem about the labor of an operation when material data are downloaded from a data base in which material data are stored and managed, the reduction of the download time and the transmission of information associated with data which can not be downloaded although a download request is issued, and to provide a method for efficiently downloading the material data without generating any operation mistake. SOLUTION: When a download request for a plurality of material data is received by a data base server device, the requested plurality of material data are data-compressed, and one compressed data file is provided as one data file.
