PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter structure that has a high contrast and improved visibility regardless of day and night and has high degree of freedom in setting, such as the arrangement, or the like, of a meter device. SOLUTION: The meter structure is provided with: a flat meter cover member 17 at the display surface side of a dial body 15a; and a dial 15 for guiding illumination from a light source 8 provided at the rear side of a dial body 15a to the display surface side via a light transmission section 4 made of characters 4a or a scale 4b. Non-reflective coated layers 17b, 17c are provided at the front and rear sides of the meter cover member 17, the light source 18 is always turned on, and the color tone of the surface color of the dial body 15 is set to be an intermediate tone color, namely a silver color, to achieve a high contrast to the tone color of light guided to the display surface side of the dial 15 through the light transmission section 4.
