PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a local application constituted by a distinctive transparent aqueous phase and a distinctive transparent oil phase. SOLUTION: This composition is provided by having the aqueous phase containing at least 40 wt. % 1 kind or in a plurality of polyols based on the total weight of the aqueous phase, and the oil phase containing at least 5 wt. % 1 kind or in a plurality of silicone oils based on the total weight of the oil phase, and having the amount of the polyols and the amount of the silicone oils so as to make the refractive indices of the two phases becoming substantially the same. The polyols are preferably selected from glycerol, dipropylene glycol or a mixture of the glycerol or dipropylene glycol with another polyol. The two distinctive phases are transparent, and while agitating the two transparent phases, the same transparent single phase is formed. The use of the composition in a cosmetic field, concretely for removing makeup, and cleansing and/or care of skin, lips and/or eyes is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
