PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new gummy (gummy candy) extremely easily and efficiently producible by a completely different method through fundamentally reviewing a production method which is considered as technical common practice in the production of gummy, and to provide a method for producing the gummy. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the gummy A has a sheet forming part 2 forming by solidification a gummy base material AO in a melting condition into a sheet shape and an individual forming part 3 having a pair of die rolls 43A and 43B comprising forming a gummy shape at least on on side. The gummy A is produced by supplying to the interval between the pair of die rolls 43 a gummy sheet S which is formed by solidification in the sheet forming part 2 so as to have appropriate thickness, viscosity and weight followed by punching action of the die rolls 43.
