PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a ventilator capable of leading outside air into a body by an air blow fan installed in the body and ventilating indoor air by an auxiliary fan installed in a ventilation duct. SOLUTION: A diffuser 23 having a connection port 20 at one end and a communication port 21 at the other end and leading the outside air led therein through the duct 14 into a rear heat exchanger 11 is installed between the suction hole 6a of a base 6 and the rear heat exchanger 11. A nozzle 18 having a divergent part 17 for diverging an opening area is fitted to the other end of the duct 14. An opening/closing means for opening and closing a flow passage starting at the connection port 20 to the nozzle 18 is installed. The auxiliary fan 40 for exhaust is installed in the flow passage. When the outside air is introduced, the auxiliary fan 40 is stopped and the flow passage is opened to lead the outside air by the air blow fan 13.
