PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable navigation device which learns a moving path, including the use of transportation means, stores the learned path as a frequently used path, and surveys the frequently used path which is input with priority. SOLUTION: The portable navigation device is provided with a path search means for surveying the moving path, including the use of transportation from the present position to the destination, and a path-guiding means for guiding the searched moving path, and comprises a present position information acquiring means, learned point storing means in which learned point on the map path is stored, and a path-learning memory means for storing the path fulfilling specified usage conditions as a frequently used path.
