摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical fiber connector excellent in an alignment performance at the time of connection and capable of suppressing a decrease in optical transmission efficiency, and to realize a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: An optical fiber transceiver 10 is fixed to a connector case 20, and alignment pins 27, 28 are fixed to the optical transceiver 10. Each of the alignment pins 27, 28 has a flange part of which the bottom face is fixed to the optical transceiver 10, and a thin diameter part positioned at the side farther than the flange part with respect to the optical fiber transceiver 10. Optical fiber arrays 31, 35 and lens arrays 25, 26 are positioned by fitting ferrules 30 on the alignment pins 27, 28. In this case, the relative positions of the lens arrays 25, 26 in the optical axis direction are determined by the flange part, and the relative positions in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis are determined by the parts farther than the flange part.
