PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a razor rendering a screen (2) hard to clog up with fragments of beard, a lump of oily dirt or the like and easier to maintain cleanliness than in a conventional razor. SOLUTION: The razor is provided with a photocatalyst layer (5) provided on a surface of the screen (2) and containing titanium oxide (TiO<SB>2</SB>) and copper (Cu) and a means (1) provided on the screen (2) and using a light emitting diode to emit light including ultraviolet rays or visible radiation rays.
