PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of specifying a required kind of thread from all kinds of threads that have been specified in the past and a thread specification control program. SOLUTION: The embroidery information processing device 40 of a multineedle embroidery machine M stores thread specification information on the specification of one kind or a plurality of kinds of threads specified in the past in an EEPROM as a thread specification information table and displays thread specification information list 64 on the basis of a all-thread information table of thread information on all kinds of threads stored in the thread specification information table and a ROM. A user can specify the information on the kind of thread that has been specified in the past from the thread specification information list 64 by operating a mouse 32, when specifying required thread information for a needle bar. By clicking on a specification button 71 or an all-thread button 72, the user can alternatively display the thread information specification list 64 or the all-thread information list.
