<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an image forming apparatus, and a program adding method for adding a program to a recording medium for program start which can be inserted/pulled out while securing the safety of a program recorded in the recording medium for program start. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor 31 for adding the program to the recoding medium 141 for program start is provided with an adding means 68 for making an external computer terminal 160 display the selection picture of a program which can be added to the recording medium 141 for starting the program, and for receiving the program addition request of a program selected from the selection screen, and for, when receiving the program addition request, transmitting the preparation request of a file for application addition necessary for adding the program to the recording medium 141 for program start to an external server 150, and for receiving the file for application addition from the server 150, and for adding the program to the recording medium 141 for program start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
