PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a superior joint interface uniformly jointed with an organic layer enabled to be formed in a simple way, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent having a negative electrode, an electron injection layer, an organic layer containing at least one luminous layer, and a positive electrode on a base plate has a process of preparing the base plate equipped with a transfer material with at least the organic layer selected from the following group 1, the negative electrode, the electron injection layer, and the rest of layers needed for the organic electroluminescent element and making a face of the base plate to have a film formed on and the organic layer face of the transfer material faced with each other, and transferring the organic layer of the transfer material on the face of the base plate to have a film formed on by heating.
