A knitting machine makes gauze cloth within a compartment having a lower front shaft and a rear upper shaft, each with a guide-bar. Each guide bar has an array of needle weights with 10-32 tubular needles per inch, depending upon the gauze fineness. The needles have the same length and height as the compartment. The needles are made of high-grade steel. The needles are presented such that the needle apertures are open at the top of the forward shaft, and downwards on the rear part of the shaft. The needle interval between the guide bars is 5 mm. The front shaft is fixed within a profile while the rear shaft enjoys lateral movement within the guide. The movable profile guides are each fixed by y screw bolt left and right. These move in ball guides and are fixed to the loom. Both profile guides are fixed to each other. The comb and warp guides in the rear compartment have the same sub-divisions as the tubular needles. The first needle and the warp thread from the front section of the needle and the first needle and the warp thread from the rear shaft, form a pair. The warp threads are drawn in by the comb.
|
