PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a safety device for construction machinery allowing an operator to recognize work information easily. SOLUTION: Current attitude values f1 to f6 of a crane are displayed in display parts 211 to 216 of a display 7 based on values detected by detectors 1 to 4. A work scope limit value g is switched to a set value gb set by the operator at a limit value ga or within a scope of the limit value ga based on specifications of the crane by key operation of an input device 5. The selected limit value g is displayed in display parts 221 to 230 of the display 7. At this time, the display parts 211 to 216 and the display parts 221 to 230 are displayed in different colors, and the color of the display parts 221 to 230 is changed depending on the selection of the limit value ga as the limit value g and the selection of the set value gb.
