A combined or standalone hand held A/V camera system that allows combined or standalone operation and is essentially comprised of a main unit, an A/V output unit and a hand-held A/V camera unit; wherein, each unit is separately provided a portable battery source, and a wired or wireless transmission device when each unit is in standalone operation mode so to provide more flexible application since all the units permit combined or standalone operation.
