PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool which can easily and quickly distinguish parts such as a valve rocker arm to be attached to a cylinder head of an automotive engine, whose shapes can not be distinguished with eyes, and prevent erroneous selection of the parts. SOLUTION: This tool is for preventing erroneous selection of two kinds of parts having analogous shapes, and is composed by forming two or more holes with shapes conformed to the outer shape of one part at equal intervals in a row and forming two or more holes with shapes conformed to the outer shape of the other part at equal intervals in a row in a thin plate. Display of the names of the parts and coloration with different colors are done for the rows of the holes conformed to the parts in the thin plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
