PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box culvert constructing apparatus which contributes to simplification of construction of a box culvert, improves the efficiency of the construction, and enables construction materials used in the construction to be reused in constructions thereafter, and to provide a box culvert constructing method. SOLUTION: The box culvert constructing apparatus is comprised of a rail 20 laid on foundation concrete 10 poured in an installation groove excavated to a box culvert construction location, a plurality of bogies 30 set on the rail, and a level adjusting means 40 formed of a plurality of level adjusting bolts 45 installed in a bottom wall 2A of each box culvert 2 transported by the bogie to the construction location, and liner plates 50 each having a lubricant sandwiched at an intermediate portion thereof.
