PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the processing contents of an electronic control unit(ECU). SOLUTION: An input processing circuit 2 is interposed between input terminals T1 to T3 and input ports P1 to P3 of an MPU 3, and an output processing circuit 4 is interposed between output ports P4 to P6 of the MPU 3 and output terminals T4 to T6. The input processing circuit 2 is provided with switching parts 21 and 22 and processing parts 23 to 25, and the output processing circuit 4 is provided with switching parts 41 and 42 and processing parts 43 to 45, and a switching control part 5 switches the switching parts 21, 22, 41 and 42 based on switching information stored in a switching information storage part 6 to switch the connection relation of the input terminals and the input ports and the contents of processing to an input signal and the connection relation of the output ports and the input terminals and the contents of processing to an output signal.
