PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer adhesive for papermaking, exhibiting less discoloration by heating and also less imparting wet paper force. SOLUTION: This dryer adhesive of a polyamidepolyamine derivative-epichlorohydrin resin obtained by performing the reaction of epichlorohydrin with a new polyamidepolyamine derivative obtained by performing the reaction of the amino group of the polyamidepolyamine with an addition reactive compound exhibits less discoloration by heating and less imparting wet paper force-reinforcing effect as compared with the conventional polyamidepolyamine-epichlorohydrin resin.
