The present disclosure relates to a novel dyeing composition for dyeing human keratinous fibers, such as hair, comprising at least one dicationic diazo dye of formula (I): [W1-N=N-W2-W3-(W4-W5)p-]2-L Formula (I) as well as the process for dyeing hair using same. Certain compounds of formula (I) are also disclosed herein.
