PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet supply device to feed the stacked sheets one by one for recoding images etc., in which a double feed of sheets is prevented certainly. SOLUTION: The sheet supply device is equipped with a plurality of air stream blowing devices to send an air stream to the end faces of the sheets S stacked in a sheet tray 21, and each air stream blowing device is furnished with a range changing means 44 to limit the blowout range of its blowout hole 41. The blowout range changing means are arranged movable in the vertical direction, and the blowout range is increased and decreased by a drive device 45 periodically. The control is made so that the motion of one range changing means 44a is different from the motion of other range changing means 44b, and the condition of the blown-out air stream differs from hole to hole.
