LABIAL COVER FOR MEASURING ORBICULARIS ORIS MUSCLE FORCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labial cover for measuring orbicularis oris muscle force capable of stably measuring the orbicularis oris muscle force and simplifying the sanitary management. SOLUTION: The labial cover has engagement parts engaged with a pair of sensing beams projecting outward from a notch parts of a distortion producing member. The labial cover is supported by the engagement parts to the pair of sensing beams in the posture with U-shaped grooves opening upward and downward. A subject engages the upper lip with the upper U-shaped groove, engaging the lower lip with the downward U-shaped groove so that the orbicularis oris muscle force is applied to the pair of sensing beams.
