PURPOSE: A method for supplying and using information by a mobile communication terminal is provided to reduce a time and costs to seek information by receiving information in a region where a user locates, and to pay a bill by use of a recognition chip of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A method for supplying and using information by a mobile communication terminal comprises the steps of: collecting information supplied from providers of each region, while storing in an information DB; dividing the stored information in a unit of base station; transmitting the divided information to corresponded base stations; transmitting the transmitted information to the mobile communication terminal within a transmission scope of each base station; making a user of the terminal accept information according to the transmitted information and select particular information; making the user receive a service from the provider according to the selected information; and making discounting a rate applied to the user by recognizing a recognition chip via a reader.
