PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lever type connector with an inertial lock function to surely make a locking operation of a lever with a lock arm. SOLUTION: In a process of insertion-coupling both housings 10, 20 by turning the lever 30, inertia of the lever generated by releasing of locking of a locking face 23 to a striking face 39 functions just before a locking state by locking of the lock arm 35 to a lock part 22, so that moment of the inertia of the lever when the lock arm 35 is locked to the lock part 22 in elastic bending is sufficiently large. Therefore, the lever 30 surely reaches a regular insertion-coupling position, and the locking of the lever 30 by the lock arm 35 locked to the lock part 22 is surely carried out.
